Thematic Painting Reflections (12-D): April 19, 2012
.) The Good/strong parts of my painting(s) would be the middle of the flower because it starts off with an orange, and goes off into a bright yellow. Also I thought I did a nice job with my theme(s).
.) I could have done a better job with being neat and blending because on my hand print one the blue and purple fading was a little sloppy.
.) My themes of my paintings are are Spatter paint, A hand kinda peace like, and a flower. Nature, Peace, and illusion. My flower was what I started off with, The hand kinda came to me right a way, and my spatter paint was kinda just RANDOM!
.) The details on my flower would have to be on the flower itself, on the petals I have a dark color, and a lighter color on top of it because it looks really nice.
.) The things that stand out most in my paintings is always the center because, thats where the darkest color is and I fade out.
.) What I learned from this project is that I LOVE PAINTING! Woo! I love is because we get to pick out own things we wanted to draw and I just love it in general. What I learned is that mixing paint isnt that easy. It takes awhile to get the right color you want.
.) I plained my first painting. My flower was the first thing I wanted. My second one was just by "Woah, I need another painting" and thats what came from it. My spatter paint was just by chance. 1 of 3 were on my first desigins.
.) I think that you should keep doing this painting thing. Make the things you paint on bigger. Also just let the students pick what they want (as of what we did last time.) Freedom+Jasmine= You know I love this!
